Give It Your Best Shot!
Virtual Golf Analysis Benefits Golfers and Local Charity

New Orleans, La. Whether you are a serious golfer or just an occasional weekend wanna-be, the New Orleans Home & Garden Show offers a special feature this year that is sure to enlighten and yes, offer a few laughs along the way.
TPC Louisiana is partnering with two high-tech companies to offer a golf simulator that electronically records and analyzes your golf swing.  PGA TOUR Professional Kelly Gibson, whose foundation Feed The Relief will benefit from this fundraiser, will be on hand to review the analysis and visit with show goers.

For a fee of $10, visitors can pick a club and take three shots “hitting” a virtual golf ball onto a green.  The par 3 hole, which will be projected on a screen, allows golfers to act as if they are playing the hole.  At the same time, using a remote camera and laptop computer the golf swing is recorded and analyzed. The virtual golf simulator will be open in the afternoon during show and prizes will be given for those closest to the hole:

  1. Anyone who makes it inside of 10 feet will receive a complimentary round of golf at TPC Louisiana
  2. A complimentary subscription to golf digest for anyone who wants to sign up
  3. At the end of the show, the closest to the pin will receive a 3 month complimentary Summer membership to TPC Louisiana
  4. A business card drop will be available and at the end of the show, a card will be drawn for a complimentary years membership to the TPC Louisiana

The golf simulator will be available:
Thursday, March 11                                    4:00pm - 8:00pm
Friday March 12 - Sunday, March 14            1:00pm - 5:00pm
