FEED THE RELIEF HIRES BRAD WHITE AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

New Orleans, La. – Local PGA golf professional Brad White has accepted the position of Executive Director with Feed the Relief, Inc., a local non-profit 501c3 established in September 2005. White recently held the position of Tournament Manager and Director of Operations at the PGA Tour’s Zurich Classic of New Orleans which is produced by the Fore!Kids Foundation. White’s previous background with non-profits and children’s programs will help Feed the Relief expand their mission and have more visibility within the community.

As Executive Director, White will develop the Inaugural Golf Tournament Fundraiser on April 10, 2010 at the TPC Louisiana as one of Feed the Relief’s annual fundraisers. A Night of Jazz / Patron Party will take place the night before the golf tournament, and will include a live and silent auction as well as performances from local musicians. Managing and producing golf tournaments is strength of White’s professional training, so an annual golf tournament is a perfect fit for a fundraiser.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are very excited to have someone with Brad’s experience join our Foundation. We feel his level of commitment to New Orleans will greatly complement our Mission,” said Kelly Gibson, PGA Tour Professional and founder of Feed the Relief, Inc.

Feed the Relief provided support to the first responders in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and will continue to support their causes along with expanded a mission to help children. “The work Kelly and his wife Elizabeth did during the days and months after Katrina really moved me. To hear their stories and read letters they received from first responders, showed their passion to help the people that were trying to save their city and the surrounding areas”, said White. Supporting first responders and children programs will be the focus of Feed the Relief’s fundraising efforts.
